THE COASTAL HIKING TRAIL, JULY 2014

July 28th – July 30th
3 Days

Mileage: 60 km
(37.3 miles)

Summary

This is a great trail that was much busier than I had expected given that it took me 14 hours to drive there from Toronto and the high expense of using the water taxi to shuttle me to the beginning of the trail. I planned to take four days to complete the hike, based on the feedback from the park office, but ended up knocking it off in three. It was a bit rainy and a bit cold, but its a beautiful rugged trail, and a must for the hiking list!

Day 1 – North Swallow Harbour to Fisherman’s Cover (22 km)
Day 2 – Fisherman’s Cover to Willow River (22 km)
Day 3 – Willow River to Visitors Center (16 km)
